Check-in

Last weekend, and a few days surrounding it, I went home to Louisiana to be ordained by my home church. As may be expected, I am still catching up with all that has been left behind by that trip. I hope to offer my reflections on the experience, and on the theology of ordination, in the near future.

Congratulations!

Congrats,

What does the ordination consist of?

Secondly, will you be ministering in LA or in Carolina?

Congrats, Chris. I look forward to reading your theology of ordination.

As far as your question on my site:
I'm not using any one particular calendar. Rather, I'm trying to mix various calendars and incorporate some people who don't make the calendar (like Stanley Rother, for one). If you want, I can share some of my sources.
